‘Make Trash into Cash’ for the Junior Carsonians, the Carse primary school kids

The campaign challenges the householders across the Carse of Gowrie to dramatically reduce their landfill contribution by putting as little into their green waste bins by reducing, recycling and reusing.  Our bins, in selected areas, have been weighed and between now and the next time you put your green bin out make a difference by checking you can’t put anything from there into your blue or brown!

For every tonne of waste reduced during the campaign approximately £78 will go to the Junior Carsonians, the junior division of the Carse of Gowrie Sustainability Group and all the pupils from out Carse Primary Schools to use on their environmental projects.
Also running at the same time is the Plastic Bag Zero Waste Campaign, when you use your local Carse shop if you take your own bag and don’t use one of their you get a raffle ticket which enters you into a draw to win a £50 voucher from the Inchture Hotel.
