Elcho Castle Family Fruit Day Rhynd, by Perth

Beautifully situated on the banks of the Tay, Elcho Castle is a remarkably complete tower house built in 1560. The orchard contains 90 fruit trees consisting of 37 pear, plum and apple varieties.
 
Explore the orchard and pick fruit for an apple pie Join Historic Scotland rangers for minibeast hunting adventures through the orchard, then into the castle's main hall to turn the beasties into pictures…or go straight to the castle for the art activity Enjoy lots of other children's activities
