Magpie
Seen in the garden at Infield checking out the feeder. I have seen them at Invergowrie and at Perth but never in Abernyte. Another corvid for the wee birds to look out for!

A very exciting bird record has been made in Knapp last week and confirmed today. The bird is a Nuthatch, and until a few years ago they were only seen around the St Abbs area, but in recent years sighting have been made from further north. Nuthatch can be confused with Tree Creeper, but the Nuthatch is a more colourful bird and climbs down trees as well as up. The Tree Creeper is the other bird that climbs up trees, but it flys down to the base and starts again.
You can find out more information here . Note the green area on the distribution map, it is a little out of date.
