However we have been seeing Oystercatchers around for the last couple of weeks. To start with I am fairly sure that I heard one flying around on the night of a very full moon which was on 22nd February. Since then they have been around on and off probably prospecting for nesting sites. The Song Thrush has been singing loudly from the top branches of various trees at the top of our garden.
Our spy in Inchture has been seeing Heron, around the village (we also saw one flying across the A90 by Inchture) Pheasants and Great Spotted Woodpecker at her feeder.
