Another of the moths that we have found in the light trap

This is a Pink-barred Sallow and is about 15mm long and is a late summer moth.

An autumn moth the Feathered Thorn on the wing from mid September until early December. In this image it is about 4cm from wing tip to wing tip. Barry

A new moth for us, the Satellite, about 2cm long. So called because of the two small dots either side of the large light mark on the wing. This is on the wing from late September through to April, overwinters as an adult.
